The entertainer and innovator was suitably psyched by the laser tech on display for Richard’s collaboration with Marshmallow Laser Feast (MLF) on his recent project for the Lexus 'Amazing in Motion' series.

The precision of the vehicles and drift world champion Rhys Millen left dozens of genuine Baccarat crystal pieces intact. All of the stunts performed by the drivers are 100% real. Amazingly, no crystal was harmed in the making of the spot directed by Richard de Aragues.

‘Scorpions, Camel Spiders and sandstorms that could strip the skin off your bones’ – just some of the natural hazards Richard de Aragues and Paris-Dakar veteran Moi Torrallardona had to face, during their record-breaking crossing of the forbidding ‘Empty Quarter’ in Saudi Arabia.The film originally created for a viral campaign caused so much online interest that the Company decided to use it for their nationwide advertising campaign for the Range Rover Sport in the USA.
LA RONDE INFERNALE - LE MANS 24 HRS
With unprecedented access, this documentary currently in production, shows the team at Nissan motorsport as they prepared to take on the might of Audi, Porsche, and Toyota in the World Endurance Championship at the most famous race in the world, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Nissan will take some of the biggest risks they have ever taken on the track, with an untested vehicle design and drivers who first leaned their skills on computer games. The film explores the radical minds of the design team, and witnesses the toll that this ambitious and unprecedented project takes on the lives of those involved.
BMW - LOUIS SMITH. FORM & FUNCTION
In 2012, official Olympic sponsor BMW approached Britain’s 4 leading documentary film directors to profile 4 British Olympians, tying their stories to BMW's own quest for perfection. Richard de Aragues’ insightful portrayal of Silver Medal winning gymnast, Louis Smith, proved ‘much more than BMW had hoped for’ and was described by Sir Clive Woodward, Team GB Director of Sport as ‘Inspirational’.
Nikon brought world-renowned photographer, Sandro and Richard de Aragues together to co-direct ‘Joy Ride’ and showcase the Nikon D800 HD-SLR and NIKKOR lenses. To demonstrate the camera's video capabilities, the film was shot in some fairly challenging lighting situations using only available lightwith Nikon's really fast sharp lenses - the 14mm 2.8, the 24, 35, 50, 85mm 1.4 and the 300 & 400mm.
HBO CINEMAX – ‘STRIKEBACK’
The popular drama, part of which Richard shot in Thailand – sees Philip Winchester & Sullivan Stapleton (‘Gangster Squad’ and ‘300: The Rise of an Empire’) back as the ‘Section 20’ operatives working for a secretive unit of British military intelligence. Cast members Will Yun Lee (‘The Wolverine’ & ‘Die Another Day’); Max Beasley (‘Suits’ & ‘Mad Dogs’); and ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’ star Michelle Yeoh, were shooting fight scenes in Bankok while an actual coup d’état was underway – which was somewhat surreal.
